The challenge
Geothermal heat can be constrained by scaling, corrosion, temperature limitations and mismatches between available heat and industrial demand. Reliable operation depends on better visibility of plant and fluid state.

GEOFLEXheat combines heat recovery, scaling reduction, high-temperature heat pumping, thermal storage, control strategies and Digital Twin methods to deliver more flexible industrial heat.

Oliveris
Our contribution
Oliveris leads the monitoring and control work for GEOFLEXheat. The team defines what needs to be measured, selects and integrates the sensor suite, and develops the sensor interfaces, control logic and software needed to operate the system. Oliveris also leads the data-acquisition work that feeds live plant measurements into the project's Digital Twin and full-scale control strategy. This creates a direct link between what is happening in the geothermal plant and how the models and controls respond. Oliveris supports integration, commissioning and validation at the demonstration sites.
