SafeDrop project officially kicks off
The SafeDrop consortium met at Fraunhofer IAP on 18–19 June 2026 to launch a 48-month Horizon Europe programme developing a bio-inspired multimodal photonic-electronic sensor platform.
The kick-off aligned the ten-partner consortium on objectives, work packages and the development pathway from proof of concept to validated demonstrators across water, healthcare, food and air applications.
